connecting TEACHERS & STAFF
to the community

Greenfield Central School Foundation grants benefit students, teachers and schools within the Greenfield Central Community School Corporation. Grants are intended to support programs/projects provided by G-C teachers within the classroom or in an after school setting which focus on innovative ways to enhance student learning and achievement.

We accept annual applications for our Educational Enrichment E2 Grants and we always want to stay connected with our valuable educators!

How Our Programs Help

E² Grant Criteria:

  • Creates opportunities for student learning and achievement.
  • Uses innovative approaches to program/project.
  • Number of students involved and/or impacted by program/project.
  • Attainable goals and outcomes for all targeted students.

It is recommended that grant requests be in the funding range of $300 to $700; however, GCSF will evaluate the merit of each request as submitted. All applications must be complete, including a detailed budget and supporting documentation of costs. Incentives, including prizes and food, can only be 10% or less of the total grant request. Grants cannot reimburse for costs previously incurred. All grant funds will be distributed using the G-CCSC purchase order process.

Persons receiving E² Grants will be expected to mention the Greenfield Central School Foundation in all publicity concerning their grant.  Final Grant Reports must be completed and forwarded to the GCSF Executive Director at the conclusion of the school year in order to qualify for future GCSF grants. Grant recipients must notify the GCSF Executive Director as soon as possible if more than 50% of the grant award will not be spent or the recipient may be ineligible for future grants.

Wish Upon a Star for Teachers

The Greenfield Central School Foundation appreciates your dedication to our G-CCSC students. The Foundation wants to be a resource that can help you make a difference in the education of your students by connecting donors to your classroom. As a part of our Red Letter Gala event on Saturday, September 28, 2024, we will be asking our guests if they would like to make a staff member’s wish come true through our “Wish Upon a Star” program. You may provide us with ONE wish list item, unfunded future needs for use in the classroom.

We will do our best to fund as many as possible through generous donations at the Gala and then listing the wishes on our website. GCSF will advise you when your wish is granted and who the donor is so you can send a note of appreciation.

We truly appreciate your support!
