Work Ethic Award
During the 2017-18 school year, Greenfield-Central High School implemented The Governor’s State Workforce Innovation Council Work Ethic Certificate program. This program began as a collaboration between the workforce innovation council, the Department of Workforce Development, and Indiana Department of Education. This is an important tool that can help provide a pipeline of skilled high school graduates into today’s workforce. Students are measured in nine areas of academic and work ethic competency. In its inaugural year, 25 students attained the Work Ethic Certificate.
Advancing Work Ethic Award:
This award is given at the annual Chamber of Commerce event to an employer who through their service along with their willingness to offer Work Ethic Certificate recipients work-based incentives has shown an extraordinary commitment to the program and to the students of Greenfield-Central.
