Their stories are connected with the threads of educators, colleagues, friends, family and neighbors who influenced their lives and spurred them to passions beyond themselves.
Dean Dobbins
Class of 1965 | Hancock Central High School
Actively served others and led by example through diligence and excellence in the field of law. Twice serving as Hancock County Prosecutor, he was honored for his high standard of ethics, leadership, and forward thinking. He was deeply engaged in community service as well as recognized for his work on historical landmark preservation.
Ronnie Mohr
Class of 1966 | Hancock Central High School
A community leader, master farmer, and positive role model. Instrumental in the cooperative merger that resulted in the creation of NineStar Connect, he also served in an equally important role with numerous community organizations. Diligently sought ways to make rural and agricultural life better through his activities and progressive ideas.
MarciAnn McClarnon Miller
Class of 1969 | Greenfield High School
Highly honored and esteemed teacher devoted to encouraging and enabling her students to be their best. Driven by a desire to meet needs in her community, she helped establish several community organizations including the Hancock County CASA program, serving as its first Executive Director.
Brent Eaton
Class of 1993 | Greenfield-Central High School
Hancock County Prosecutor actively finding ways to improve programs and establish new ones to make a difference in the lives of the community’s citizens. Engaged in working to create solutions for drug-related issues, domestic violence and victims assistance. Serves on the board of directors for several community non-profit organizations.
